Sweet Dreams

Well, another week has passed...we are still hiding out in our house, hubby and me.  I am drifting in and out of Facebook...just can't be bothered with all the political nonsense these days.  I do spend a lot of time in Twitter.  I am going to start curtailing that as well.  Working on some tags, to spend the excess time on my hands...oh and walking again...OK, so its going in circles in my backyard, but what the hell...its fresh air and I get to walk off all my frustrations!

Hubby and I spent most of the week filling out his retirement papers and enrollment forms for supplemental insurance.  Crazy how much time it took...I am beginning to know how it feels to be old.  I keep re-reading and nothing makes sense. We had to put in several calls to HR to figure out what we are supposed to be completing.  It's all done online and ugh! The instructions are not "user friendly".  We managed to finish by Friday...all we need to do now is wait for confirmations and the insurance ID cards. Ummm...welllllll...I think. I am sure they will let us know if we missed something important. Have I ever mentioned that my hubby is technically challenged? He is...I keep rescuing him out of silly computer loops, like making his desktop go sideways. 😏

Puppy pictures arrived....they are three weeks old and I am already in love with them all.  I know I have to settle on one, but they are all so adorable!

Love the face on this yellow girl!! 💛
This green girl looks like a huggable teddy bear!💚
OMG! This pink girl is adorable!!! 💗
Admit to being partial to this little purple girl...💜💜💜
This little red girl is beautiful, has markings like Hannah!! 💓

See my dilemma?  I love them all! They will change as they get older...such an amazing time watching them grow...even if its just from photos.  This is all the excitement I have right now...reading the breeder's updates and gazing at their pictures. Yup...I have puppy fever!

Enjoy!! Cheers!!! 🍷

Ginger Zero

Hope everyone is well and keeping safe! We are all doing fine, although hubby is driving my girls crazy with the social distancing within the house.  We manage to survive it, with a bit of frustration. I have been housebound now for 7 weeks...gah! I have another doctor appointment in May, along with an appointment to take my car in for servicing. I am really looking forward to driving...sheesh...sound desperate! 😂

My husband is retiring on May 8th...finally bit the bullet after procrastinating for so long.  I guess I will get control of my laptop back so I can do resume creating. (Signals my muse to come out of hiding!!)

Of course, no travel plans in sight...and I did so want to visit my sister this summer. I will have to forego that trip until there is a vaccine...I really don't want to fly anywhere right now.  Hubby said we might be able to drive...but he always say's "we" and it usually becomes "me".  I don't think its a good time to go anywhere. I am also worried about my youngest Ashley.  She has booked a trip to New York in October.  I am hoping she will get to go, but also worried.  We are watching Governor Cuomo's press briefings since he is 100 times more honest than our lying wackadoodle president.

I have been bingeing on Netflix and HBO...love Westworld and The Plot Against America! I never read the book, but now I am interested.  Phillip Roth is a great writer...don't know how I missed this one, having read most of his other books.  If you have HBO, give the series a look...the book was adapted to the screen by David Simon, the same producer of "The Wire", another great HBO series. Westworld is much more exciting this year than last...so far I think I have re-watched the released episodes of Season 3 a few dozen times.

I am waiting on more pictures of the puppies.  I really want some close up's of the females. I know I can't pick one out yet as the breeder has first choice..but I would like to see their faces!! So excited and looking forward to when my puppy will be coming home.  I have a potential list of names available to try out...silly I know.

Love steampunk....this tag was created using one of Barbara Jensen's tubes.. She is amazing with detail!!

Cheers!! 🍷

Happy Easter!!!

Wishing everyone a very blessed and safe Easter Sunday!

We spent it watching Easter Mass on television from St. Simon and St. Jude Catholic Church in Phoenix, Az.  It will be a quiet celebration, with dinner late since my girls are working (essential employees).

Please be safe everyone! This nightmare is not over.  I am afraid we will be encouraging another wave of sickness if we stop social distancing.  Prognosis is terrible right now and in the state of Arizona, we are not predicted to peak for another two weeks!

Pray for the world....🙏✝

Puppies!!

One of these little rug rats is mine!! Born on Saturday night, mom had 10 puppies, one passed away. There are 9 left, 5 females and 4 males!  I was praying for a female and I got my prayers answered.  I am second on the pick list for a female, so I will be choosing from the 4 females left.  YAY!!

I am so excited!! Now I am going through names...I like to have a few ready to see which one will fit the personality.

I keep looking at the lil chunky butt with the purple ribbon. 🥰

Cheers!! 🍷

Iced Blue

Praying for an end to this pandemic...for the world to go back to some semblance of normality.

I don't get a chance to get on my computer since hubby is using it to work from home.  I can't actually create pictures on my iphone and my muse is ...well...taking a vacation. I did do some creations a few weeks back and this is one of them.

One of the brightest spots in life right now...my puppy should be born any day now.  I am waiting on the good news and lots of pictures...crosses fingers!! 😊
