Fall Gardening

Normally, around this time of the year, gardening is what I love doing. Unfortunately, I am not physically motivated to get out and play in the dirt this year. It's basically still too damn hot! Hopefully, October will bring cooler air into the desert. I can only pray...I wonder if our dear Lord is tired of hearing me pray?

Heidi will be 24 weeks old today...she has gotten bigger of course, but also her coat is getting shades of brown mixed in with the black. She has stopped being a baby shark and is now a "licker"...licks me everywhere if she has a chance. She is officially housebroke, leash broke and we are working on the jumping every time she see's you. (Excited little bugger!) It's hard to break as I can only advise others what to do when she jumps up on them. I can't make them follow the advice. Oh well, in time she will learn. I cannot say she is a fast learner, she pushes the envelope too much.

Hello Autumn

Hello Autumn

Just adore this halloween cat by Kajenna...I have used this tube for several autumn tags and have never been disappointed with the results.  This tag is by far, my favorite autumn picture of the many I have made for the last three years. 

I am still battling Facebook.  I don't see everyone's posts and as much as I enjoy scrolling (haha), they need to do something about group and individual posts.  I see mainly group posts....very few individual posts.  Often they show up on my timeline several days after they have been posted.  Talk about being late for the party.  I guess old news is better than no news.  And yes, I do use the "Most Recent" tab to see the latest...ummm...well, they are always group posts. Rather frustrating to say the least. I have a feeling Facebook is going to a more socialized setup, leaving individual's to swim upstream or join/create a group or page. 

Countdown to Halloween!!! I am working on a new Halloween theme for my blog.  Stay tuned as I plan to unveil it very soon.

Already anticipating fall...with its cooler temperatures and wonderful holidays! This kit from Pink Paradox Productions has plenty of colorful autumn elements and papers.  The tube is by Kajenna and fit perfectly into the theme.  

The weather has been muggy and warm...the storms are hellacious! Hail and wind that is not the usual type of monsoon weather we get in the summer. I am ready to turn the page...can't wait for September.  Will be traveling to Arlington, Virginia where the leaves actually turn to the beautiful warm browns, reds and yellow colors!
