Medieval Fantasy

Spent a few days playing with colors, textures and creating new artwork. Whenever I work on a piece, I get so relaxed and forget all about time passing. Works better than my anxiety medication! I just adore this tube by ©Laguna. To create the scene  I used a wonderful scrap kit by Pink Paradox Productions. 

Today I went into Tucson to get my hair colored.  Amazing how fast the strands of gray bloom! My hairdresser suggested going a step lighter than my usual warm brown.  I must admit to being a bit hesitant.  She assured me it would not be a drastic color change, so I agreed as long as it's a subtle change...never know how hubby is going to react.  Well, as usual she was right and I am so glad I decided to go ahead. I love the soft highlights of gold shimmering within the light brown color.  Oh yes...my hair is shorter too. Complete do-over from color to style!  Now if only I could get it to look this way everyday.

Pouring another glass of wine as I relax to watch "The Handmaid's Tale" on Hulu.  Cheers! 🍷

Christmas Collie

Three days to Christmas!  This collie is ready and waiting for Santa! A beautiful tube "Santa Angel Girl w/Collie" by Laguna which can be purchased at Pics For Design.  I paired it with lovely Christmas themed mini scrap kits which were part of my Christmas gift from Creative Design Outlet last year. The kits are by Cry's and Hania's Design and are not available for sale. However, you can find new Christmas kits for sale on the CDO website, here. The mask is free to use, "LLM-755", by Lori's PSP Graphics. 

So excited, tonight we are enjoying a family dinner at Bottega Michelangelo's in Tucson. This night marks the beginning of our Christmas celebration!  The next two days will be filled with preparations for Christmas Eve, which means baking cookies, wrapping all the gifts and finalizing Christmas dinner plans.  🎅😊

Love this tube by Laguna. The scrap kit is free for personal use and has lovely elements and papers of lavender and green shades, perfect for a soft layer look. The cluster by KaDismal is also free for personal use and there are very many lovely clusters to choose from on her website.

I haven't been feeling too well last few days. Asthma has been bad, very fatigued and mainly resting my eyes that seem to burn all the time.  Its allergy season in Tucson....ugh! 😐

That lil yorkie stole my heart...so cute! Ok, I padded the frame and added more flowers and elements from the scrap kit "Secret Garden". I also have a collection of fairies and I placed a spring one perched on the pail, stretching her legs.  

Time to get some sleep. Its been a bit elusive these days. 😒

Late December

I created this tag with a winter snow scene that I actually saw in a movie. I've been watching Hallmark Channel's Christmas movie marathons and yes, Christmas is over, but not in my heart.  Ok, a brief scene of a cabin with snow falling in the background and my mind starting putting it together for a tag. I guess I should start keeping track of each step in the making of my tags, but I am not at that stage yet. Maybe next year I will be able to advance to that stage.

For this tag, I used a beautiful tube called "Fawn" by Nocturne. She is PTU and you can purchase her at Pics for Design.

I also used PTU "Santa Angel's collie" in the background.  The collie comes with another lovely lady by Laguna and is available for purchase at Pics for Design.
