I started working on this tag Tuesday, but didn't have the heart to finish it until today.

On Wednesday, July 26, I put down my Siamese cat, Gina. The ordeal has left me depressed and terribly heartbroken. I thought I was fully prepared for the verdict and didn't expect to take her passing so hard. I raised her from the moment she was born and her mother didn't want her.  I bottle fed and rubbed her with a warm wet cloth to stimulate her mother's tongue. I was there the first time she opened her beautiful eyes. I was there when she closed them forever.  She was ours for 19 years. Some say she lived a long life and it was her time to go. It just wasn't my time to say goodbye.

Getting myself psyched up to go back to work, after being off for a week. Thinking over the last week, I wrote down everything I did, so I could tell anyone who asked how I spent my summer vacation. Are you ready? Here goes.....

1. Slept In Every Day
2. Drank Wine
3. Stayed Up Past Midnight Every Night
4. Drank Wine
5. Went ONLINE Shopping Twice
6. Drank Wine
7. Got My Hair Cut
8. Drank Wine
9. Watched Cable News Nonstop
10. Drank Wine
11. Watched Fireworks Display
12. Drank Beer (aha gotcha!) and 
 Drank Wine

That's it!!! Its official!!!!
The only thing I did on vacation was drink a lot of wine!

This was an idea I had when I created the paint horse tube.  The  paint horse tube was created from a photograph of horses running. Unfortunately, there were no credits attached to the photograph.  

I am on vacation this week. No, I'm not out wandering the world, just relaxing at home. 😊  Today was the first day no one was home but me! So what do I do? Work on some graphics...with lots of time to put several together. It is so quiet, just me and Hannah. I can concentrate better without a lot of interruptions. Maybe that's part of getting older, no interruptions, more work. 👵

I have gotten into the CW show "Riverdale". Not what I remember Archie Comics was all about, this is more darker and mysterious. I love it! OK, I am a CW Junkie!

I will be bbq'ing with my family and passing out "Firework" drinks. Later tonight, hubby will be providing a small firework display. I am off this week, time to recharge the batteries, laze around and do nothing.  I must admit this vacation came quickly...these months are just flying off the calendar.
