Beautiful lady by Vadis!! Perfect for my stunning Valentine setting. I used a background layer from a scrapkit by Jackie's Jewels, which unfortunately, is no longer available. The mask is by Zuzzanna, a wonderful artist that I discovered by accident while searching for fairy photographs.  The website was a lucky find for me!

Gorgeous tube created by Kahlan, who has an awesome website with very many beautiful gothic images.  I paired the tube with one of my favorite scrap kit artists, Carrie at Pink Paradox Productions. I own more of her kits than any other artist.  You can say I have one for every occasion!  

I love the way this image come out...very gothic and smokey atmosphere!

A new painting using the amazing fairy artwork of Amy Brown.  I spent quite a bit of time with this picture, matching the background colors to the scrap kit. I am extremely pleased with the results. I have chosen this picture to be my first Valentine tag of 2018 😊. 

Amy Brown has so many beautiful fairy prints, but she is no longer making them available for sale at Creative Design Outlet.  She has created new art prints I would love to use, especially the dragons. But....until she has another outlet to offer them, I must only use the tubes purchased through CDO. Crosses fingers she will decide to sell them on her own website!

A chilly walk through the forest on a crisp wintery day!  

I created this tag while I was recuperating last month. I loved this sassy girl with the blue santa cap! The scrap kit provides a lot of winter elements, with a hint of valentine charm.  Mask used is a freebie and can be found on Dragonfly's blog.  I so enjoy Dragonfly's tutorials and her masks, learning so much scrolling through it. Always finding new ways to do something in Paint Shop Pro.  Thanks Dragonfly!

Avidly reading more and neglecting my creative spirit lately.  So without boring everyone further, off I go to work on a few tags. 😉

Hope the New Year started out great for all!  This new year seems to be moving along at a very fast pace for me.  I keep getting asked what my travel plans are for this year. To be honest, I am not sure what I want to do this year...travelwise. I have quite a few days where I don't feel like doing anything but resting, reading and not thinking of anything at all!  Certainly not conducive to planning out the rest of this year 😊

For the moment I do have plans to see Taylor Swift in May at Glendale Arena.  I bought my ticket, so that is actually more of a "done deal".  Hey, its called progress....lol.  Check back with me in a month or so...😄

Glittering Snow Animation Package 172 by Rebel Dezigns 

My first tag of 2018! Glittering snowfall highlights a beautiful elf and her two companions. This was a very simple tag to create, only utilizing the two tubes and a tree element, background from the scrap kit.  I thought the background was too lovely to cover up with elements.  

After the last two weeks of suffering through coughing spells, it feels good to get back into playing with scrap kit and tubes, backgrounds and templates.  I didn't stop learning!! I continued to read and adopt new ways of using Paint Shop Pro 9.  I also resisted the temptation to upgrade until I feel the necessity of doing so.  Believe me, it was hard to click off that final advertisement price of $24.99, but I did. I have found switching to another paint software program does involve an investment of time in learning how to use the new program.  I didn't want to expend that much time. 

Looking back over the last two years on this blog of my graphic artistic endeavors, I can't help but notice the changes in my style and techniques.   A toast to me, that I will continue to learn and leave my own mark in the tagging world.
