Weather took an abrupt turn to windy and cooler temperatures. I feel it in my bones.  Hoping my newly planted flowers survive!!  

Feeling sore from my trip to Tucson, so taking it easy today.  I think Hannah suspects my aching as she hasn't left my side for more than a few minutes.  Listening to the news is depressing...I have no idea why I even bother. Seems everyday another scandal...or problem...or behavior...sometimes I just want to scream. (Oh wait, I do scream at the tv...nevermind.😐)

In my spare time (who has any these days???) I am going to try writing again. I said "try"...not sure I will succeed as my muse is tuned into creating pictures.

A bit different, but fun to create...looks like I spent months working on it, instead of a few days. Love my Paint Shop!!

I have been busy as a bee lately. Love it, as it makes the time slip by.  We had our first really HOT day today.  It was 91 in Tucson!! I took Hannah for a walk, such a beautiful day. I enjoyed it while it lasted, rumor is we are getting stormy weather soon, perhaps by tomorrow.

Its Spring!!! The days are growing longer and I am spending more time outside, working on the garden and taking walks with Hannah.  Beautiful weather!!!  I might as well enjoy it before the intense heat hits...usually becomes "HOT" end of April into May. I go back into hibernation then! 😄

Hope you enjoy this beautiful lady by Barbara Jensen set in this fabulous cluster frame that is free to use.  Its beautiful in its simplicity. I used a pretty paper found on the web as background.  The mask is also free to use, adding another faint layer of shamrocks to the cluster.

I took a week off to give my creative spirit a rest.  No art or tutorials, nothing but admiring other's work in the groups I belong to on Facebook.  I finished reading "Fire and Fury"...a very insightful, but depressing book concerning Donald Trump.  I won't bother with the details.  I am back to the canvas was a plethora of ideas, but I am taking my time putting them together. I am trying to sketch my ideas (if that makes sense).  I will continue to explore and read about texturizing, blends and various other methods of graphical expression. I hope you continue to join me on my journey! :)
