Love this tube by Nocturne and found a kit with lots of fabulous elements and colors to match up a fairy scene.  I used a canvas textured background for a different look.  Reminds me of a painting. 

Storms wrecked havoc with my fence. Now I am trying to get contractors to come out and give me a quote for insurance.  I am getting very frustrated and aggravated.  I feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman...She had the money to spend but no one wants to sell her a dress...in my case, come out to San Manuel to tell me how much money they want to do the work. UGH! 😞

Cute lil fairy by Selina Fenech which I purchased quite a long time ago.  I am so happy to see that Selina is now offering her tubes for sale again along with some beautiful coloring pages for the artist's in us all! I promptly purchased some new tubes for Halloween. 😊

It got cooler with all the surrounding storms, so I was able to walk again.  A bit windy, but it felt cool, not like a hot blast from the oven.  So far we haven't been lucky enough to get a thunderstorm to rain down on us, perhaps soon.  Keeping fingers crossed!

Just where I would like to be! Relaxing on a beach with a drink in my hand. Lovely lady is by Verymany, a favorite of mine. The scrap kit is free, great kit for summer tags.  

Trying to survive the current heat wave. At least it gives me more time to play with paint shop. I do miss my walks and working in the garden. I am not an early riser unless its for a doctor's appoint or to catch a plane back east. Sometimes its just plain hard to get out of bed! I will just have to wait out nature and hope for rain soon!

Lovely lady by Barbara Jensen. I paired it with a scrap kit from Chaos Priestess. The kit is free and can be found on her website. I love her style and took advantage of as many of her free kits as I could! The mask is by Dragonfly, another favorite of mine. I love her tutorials, so easy to follow! 

We are going into a heat wave starting today through Tuesday.  I don't plan on going out unless I am forced to.  Best to stay inside and play with paints! 😊

Love this tube and sad to say, it is no longer available. I have had it for a very long time. Some of the most wonderful artists are no longer offering their creations for sale as tubes.  The kit I used is awesome! Lots of gothic images and papers to use! I just loved the stairway and had to use it in the background. This kit will be a "go to" during the Halloween season!

We are in the hot, humid monsoon part of the Sonoran Desert summer.  Sticky and unbearable if you go outside for any amount of time. I have been walking at least 4 days a week.  Today I feel like I outdid myself yesterday, running about Tucson talking to contractors about a remodeling project I have in mind.  I am quite sore and have decided to take a day off from exercising and dabble in my paint program.
