Gypsy Night

Timeline Background by Pink Paradox Productions "Golden Autumn"
Tube by Anna Liwang - Bonus Tube (Not available for purchase.)

Life has been keeping me very busy during the day. Good news is that I am sleeping better!! My eyes are bothering me more these days. After working all day on the computer, I give them a rest at night. However, I was missing working with my graphics and decided tonight to create the Facebook timeline for Halloween above. The idea came from a movie about gypsy lore and halloween spooks. I hope you enjoy it.  Its free to use, just click the image and save to your computer.

My daughter Jackie has hit a run of bad luck. On Tuesday night her new car (4 months old) was hit by a drunk driver. He hit the car with such force, it landed on the sidewalk in front of our house. Luckily, he was not hurt, his airbag went off and officers that responded took charge of getting all the information we needed to file a claim against his insurance. She has no car and of course, Wal-Mart has now chosen to change her schedule, making it difficult to arrange our work times. My hours used to be the same as hers, but now they are very different. We are hoping she will be given a rental to use while her car is being repaired.  My heart goes out to her. She is so upset about her car and now worried about this new schedule and transportation to get to work on the new shifts.  When it rains, it literally does pour!

Its Friday, I have no plans this weekend. Jackie will have my car, so no shopping in Tucson (guess I save some money..lol). I will be resting and spending time pulling weeds that have sprung up in my flower beds from all the rain!  My master bathroom is scheduled for remodeling next week...crosses fingers.  I have been waiting to get this done for over 3 months now.  I also want to redo my bedroom, but figured it could wait until the bathroom is completed before tackling that project. The bathroom is slated to have the flooring redone...I need to see how that looks first before deciding about the bedroom floor.

I worked a bit late today, getting ICD 10 updated codes into NextGen so we will be compliant October 1, 2016. They didn't take long to load, no major problems encountered. But hey, it always works for me...have to see how it goes Monday morning.

Off to watch a movie before bed...

Spellbound

Allergies have gotten the best of me this past week. Scheduled a visit to my doctor for some allergy medication since the over the counter stuff was not working anymore. Flonase is my preferred choice, but that crapped out.  I needed something that would clear up my allergies and help me sleep without waking up groggy as hell.  My exam was not the high point of my day because OMG! I gained 10 pounds back!!!! I swear the doctor's scale had to be off, by 10 pounds!!! Talk about being bummed out...can't breath and feeling fat again. (Insert deep sigh here.) She determined my weight gain was from stopping the medication that sped up my metabolism, so back on it I went. My brain will never shut down now. Officially, lungs were clear, but oxygen level was down 10 from last visit.HUH? Okkkk....allergies aside, she was more worried about my pulse rate being 110...and by the way, did I run to her office? Uhhh...nope!  Not sleeping or breathing well can do that to you, don't you think? She also did not like my A1c results of 6.0. Neither did I, but it's not in the danger range.  Anyway, by the time she renewed all my medications the bill at the pharmacy went over $200 and that is with insurance discounting. What the hell?  I still say the pharmaceutical industry and insurance companies are in bed together. That's my story and I am sticking to it!

The only "good thing" for me about being sleep deprived was I played with graphics long into the night hoping it would make me sleepy by relaxing my mind completely.  Usually it works, just about 3 hours before I have to get up for work. So here's another Halloween tag which I worked on a little at a time each night.  Ok, I'm still not up to speed on creating these as quick as others do, but I am stubborn and determined!

Frame:  Pink Paradox Productions "Golden Autumn"
Tube:  VeryMany Tubes "Witch3"

Now that this tag is finished, another one has started to form in my mind.  I do want to create a few timelines as well.  First off,  I must stalk some of my favorite blogs for ideas. Oh and eventually, I do want to redo my blog, especially for christmas. Putting a lot of "things to do" on my list might keep me up again at night.

Halloween Time

It was another insane day. Hopefully, this will all end soon and things will get back to normal.  Well, as normal as it gets. I haven't been up to watching political shows, so I settle on a movie and sip some wine.  Tonight I played with graphics and kept looking over my laptop at the movie...which probably explains why I can't remember exactly what I did, but it sure turned out nice enough to share. The wine didn't assist my memory either. :)

Frame: Scrap kit by ASB Designs "Double Trouble"
Tube: VeryMany Tubes  "Witch2".

Enjoying the wonderful creations that Kisses N Dreams displayed today.  I wish I could do tags like those. I am proud of my own little creations, I am just always striving to do better.

Good Night! Tips my hat!

Tips My Hat!

It's been a very hectic few days for this old lady.  I finally got some time tonight to relax and finish up a time line I was working on over the weekend.  I also found a cluster frame that I thought would be perfect for a VeryMany tube I purchased recently, called "Cowgirl2".  Cowgirl2 can be purchased here.  The frame is from a kit by Princess Designs and I think it can still be purchased here.  As the frame was a lariat with no additional elements,  I added flowers and leaves to the frame from a scrap kit by Pink Paradox Designs. "Antique Autumn". I love that this kit offers beautiful elements that can be used beyond autumn (reminds me of a touch of steampunk).  It contains lots of papers and furry animals! This has become one of my favorite scrap kits to use in complementing a frame.

Tonight I also finished a facebook timeline for Halloween.  Some people would consider the tube a bit racy, but she's a lovely Barbara Jensen creation.  When I used to have an actual profile in yahoo, I would raid Barbara's gallery for copies of her prints to use as an avatar.  When I started doing some sig's I purchased some of her pinup tubes and still have them to this day.  I laughed when I saw them under an "old pinup" index.  I don't consider her work "old".  I love them more today than when I first used them back in my younger years!

This is a relatively new tube, called Raspberry Tart. It's a layered tube,  so she can be used for all the holidays coming up so quickly. If interested, you can find her on Barbara Jensen's website, just click Barbara's name and you will be magically taken to Raspberry Tart! :) The timeline was created from a scrap kit by Pink Paradox Productions called "Golden Autumn" which to me is a nice blend of  brown and golden autumn and a few that would be considered Halloween elements.

The timeline is free to use, just right click on the image and "save as" to your computer.

I find it hard to get online on days I go into the office as my eyes hurt so much I just want to lay down sleep when I get home.  Hopefully, this will get better when I finally see my eye doctor in a few weeks. The eye drops help, but sleep is better.

Good night! Tips my hat!

Jeepers Creepers

My first 2016 Halloween tag! This cluster frame was created from a kit by Inzpired Creationz called "Enchantment".  Credit for the cluster goes to "Chilipepper Spiced". I added to the cluster from a minikit by Crazy Carita in 2012 called "Spooky Night", originally for a Barbara Jensen tube. This kit is no longer available for purchase. If interested, I can offer it as a "freebie" only. Leave me message so I can email the kit to you.

The mask is by Vix and I just reconnected with her blog. I read she is back and I am hoping for more of her fabulous creations.  She was the first graphic artist that inspired me to start doing these tags back in 2009.  Glad to have her back in the tagging world again!!

I am still working on more creations. They do take time and for some odd reason lately, my internet is dragging.  I was asked in Facebook what program I use to create my tags.  I use Coral Paint Shop Pro X6.  I still use the old Animation Shop which I still enjoy and regret its not available anymore. Believe it or not, it used to be a free animation program!

Enough about me for tonight. Take care and enjoy the weekend ahead!!

Violets

I made this tag sometime during the summer...taken from a cluster pack called "Sunny Daydreams" by Basima and available at Pink Paradox Productions.  The tube is called "Adele" from VeryMany Tubes . She was very easy to make and one day I'll try to list the steps I took in creating these tags.  Actually, all I added was my copyright and glitzy name tag.  The tube was duplicated twice and trimmed to fit within the frame.  I think she came out beautiful, What do you think?

I added some facebook timeline covers that anyone is free to use.  I will be adding more soon! Personalization is an option, but you must let me know the exact spelling of your name.  Enjoy whether you use them or not!

It was a very busy day at the office! I really enjoy office days that go by quickly.  Today wasn't as tiring, mainly because I didn't do any running around putting out fires. Most of my time was spent in meetings...office phone conferences and one new provider orientation that allowed me to literally stay off my feet for over an hour. My whole presentation was 10 minutes...maybe less. I will confess I am not good at public speaking. Just calI me "Hillary Clinton" . I am just as bad as she is when I have to talk in front of a crowd.  Its easier when I know the people, but strangers?  I tend to forget exactly what I wanted to say about the subject on hand.  Actually, I am a much better writer than a speaker.  Check out my story link whenever you have a chance to just read some ....ummm...naughty stuff.

I have some great scraps to work with...so I will spend some time putting a few graphics together before calling it a night!

My Lil Pony

Really enjoyed creating this tag.  I was thinking of my daughter Ashley when I saw this pony at VeryMany Tubes.  I used a cluster frame by Kathyfrances called "In His Dreams".  The frame was built from a scrap kit by Kaymee Designs at Shabby Pickle. The cluster frame was a free gift which I found on Escape from Reality Blog.  So many beautiful frames and clusters are available free to use on this blog site!! The tube is called "Pony" by VeryMany Tubes .  I used Animation Shop to add a lil glitz to the title font, not much..which only means that I need to revisit how much glitz I do should add to the font! Always learning and re-learning. This is a very relaxing way to spend hours...time goes by so quickly.

I also added music to my blogsite, only a few songs to start. Experimenting with the background, gadgets and widgets.

This was the last tag I created over vacation. Back to being a bit too tired to play with graphics, but will resume over the weekend.  I have some ideas for facebook covers and tags for Halloween, which will be here before I know it.  Have a few "beautiful" witches to share!

Golden Autumn

Just love this cute cluster frame...I am not sure who created it, was given to me without details.  I added a mask and VeryMany tube to it which complimented the color theme of the frame.  The tube is called "Bunch of Roses" and can be found at VeryMany Tubes . The word art was created by me and added to the top of the white arch frame.  Everything else came with the cluster frame.  If you know the name of the artist, please let me know so I can give credit.

Whispers of Autumn

This frame was created by me, using a scrap kit from Pink Paradox Productions called Antique Autumn.  Purchase it here.  The lovely lady is by VeryMany Tubes and she is called Melanie. Drop on by VeryMany Tubes to purchase her. Don't pass up the opportunity to browse through the other lovely ladies she has created!

I placed the window frame as background first, then added a paper making it the bottom layer to give the impression of an autumn scene peeking through the window. Flowers of my choice were clustered around the bottom base of the frame and along the sides.  I added the butterfly, pine cone, and clock along with lace inserts to fill in the spaces. The word art was created by me and added to the edge of the window frame along with a bow! How does it look? I think its just perfect for the coming days of autumn.

A Moment in Time

I love VeryMany tubes...this one is called Margaret and I've set her in a frame created by Kathyfrances from Escape from Reality blogspot. It was taken from a scrap kit by Nanly Design. You can look for it here . Beautifully framed, I selected this tube to compliment the colors, without detraction in changing the color of her dress.  I added the word art and my name to the graphic.  I think it turned out lovely!

Dark Autumn

Another beautiful tube from VeryMany called Vampire2.  I have chosen to not use the bloody fangs.  The frame is by Sly and created from a scrap kit called Mermaid by Tiny Turtle Designs.  The colors actually drew me to use this particular frame, dark greens and blues which complimented the muted tones of her dress.  Inspiration came from a tag on Leather and Lace Tuts called Gothic Thoughts. As soon as I saw the tag, I bought the tube and searched for a frame among the many I received as gifts or inherited from others.  One nice thing about using a cluster frame ?  A  majority of the work has been done and elements are easy to add.  Sly did an outstanding job with the colors on this frame.  I made no additions to it, loving the way it went with the tube as is.  The tube can be purchased at VeryMany Tubes here . The frame scrap kit Mermaid can be purchased here ,

Deeply Absorbed

Spent most of my day getting this blog set up.  I browsed quite a number of artists and was getting more and more disappointed with the results.  Just before I was ready to give up, I found this lovely blogger template by freyjasilver.  Unfortunately, I don't believe she is making these lovely templates anymore.

Tomorrow I will finish another graphic that I started this morning.  Too tired right now from the exhaustive searching.  One day I may try building these blogger templates.  I must say it does keep the mind occupied!! I actually didn't pay attention to the political world today.

Rainy day blues....go away...hoping for sunshine. Day 3 of my week vacation.

Autumn Wishes

This lovely graphic (or tag/sig) is called Autumn Wishes. Created from a cluster frame by Tasha's Playground called Autumn Kiss, the frame can be purchased here. I added a few touches of my own from a scrap kit by Pink Paradox Productions called "Tina's Winter" , as I preferred to use a fox to cover the bunny and added a squirrel to the top of the frame. Other than those additions, the frame itself was not altered. The scrap kit can be purchased here . The  beautiful artwork of VeryMany Tubes, one of my favorite tube artists, created the lovely lady in the graphic. The tube is called "Carol" and she was perfect against the autumn colors. Click here to travel to VeryMany's store to purchase "Carol" and a license to use her.
