This is where I usually get stuck in life.  Sometimes I just can't accept what is happening and try hard to change the inevitable outcome.  At my age, I should have learned this lesson a long time ago.

On a brighter note, there are only 78 more days to Halloween.

Whimsical Wishes

Whimsical Wishes

Ready for some good news? For the last few days, my "muse" finally made a welcome return! Every night I have been filled with ideas on what to create.  So far, I have completed four tags, one wallpaper (which I haven't tackled in ages), and two Facebook timelines. Sometimes life stifles the creative spirit within, so I am hoping nothing happens to cause my muse to disappear again!

The beautiful tube above was purchased quite a while ago, but again…never had a specific theme in mind in which to utilize her  The picture above is just one of the four tags which just "popped" into my head. Amazingly, this tube fit perfectly into the theme.

I saw this tutorial by Viv and just had to try it! I just love the overall theme! This beautiful fairy was purchased quite a while ago, but I never found a suitable setting for her.  I was so happy to finally fit her perfectly into this theme.

Unanswered Questions

El Paso, Texas

This is Sunday. Let us pray for the victims of El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.

For the life of me,  I don't understand the world today.  So many mass shootings, so much hate...why do people resort to gun violence to solve their problems?  What has happened to our society that causes such anger and rage in a person? What was the trigger for this outrage?

It's already been noted how easy it is for an angry person to obtain access to guns. The argument for gun control raises its head every time a shooter is identified as being mentally disturbed or belonging to radical political groups.  It also gets quickly tabled under Second Amendment politics.

When will it be considered unsafe for people to go to the movies, a ball game, or enter a grocery store unless we resort to carrying a loaded gun for protection?  Are we going to start "packing" our children as we send them off to school?  This sounds crazy doesn't it?

I don't have an answer to any of these questions, do you?

Scary times to be living in....
