Beware the "witching hour"!! It's Halloween Night! Hope all the little goblins and ghouls have a safe trick or treat night.

Vadis is a new tube artist to my collection that does absolutely beautiful work and I will be purchasing more of her artistic endeavors. The scrap kit is rapidly becoming a favorite "go to kit" and I plan on using the more gothic elements long after the season of Halloween has passed.

How about a little bit of "poison" before Halloween? 

Splashes of color enhance the sexy "Razor's Edge" by ©Barbara Jensen.  She is mixing up a fresh batch of poison for "All Hallow's Eve".  I used the wonderful and FREE scrap kit "Poison" by Mizteeques.  Quite a selection of elements for a free scrap kit. She has a few other freebies to give away on her website. Be sure to leave some love if you take any of her delicious goodies! 😉

The mask is by Wee Scots Lass and adds a goulish and smoky appearance to the tag. This mask is #363 and is free to use. It can be found on her website here.  She has quite a number of free masks...you may get stuck there for a long time! 

I am getting excited about the beautiful tubes coming out now for Christmas. I am exploring my favorite scrap designers to see what I can add to my collection.

Sitting in a pumpkin patch, carving out jack-o-lanterns for Halloween.  Our sassy witch has been busy...only 9 days to the big day and so many pumpkins to get ready. Please excuse her as she returns to her work...and oh yes...these are magical pumpkins!

Another beautiful tube by Very Many! I love her work! The scrap kit is by Pink Paradox Productions, a very favorite scrap designer.  Big sale going on right now at her store.  The template I used is by Millie and can be found here.  She has quite a few freebies that I really must explore when I get the time. Christmas is coming fast, have to be ready!!!  The bubble animation is free and can be found at Simone Animations here.The mask I used is Mast 65 by Moonbeams & Spiderwebs and can be found here.  Take some time to wander through their website, a lot of freebies are to be found  Its trick or treat, without the trick! 😊

The days are passing by so fast, can't wait for this year to be over and a new year to begin.

Its been a long night and my witch is ready to chill out and relax.  

This beautiful witch is by Alehandra Vanhek and can be found at Hania's Designs.  She is absolutely beautiful and with so many colors to dress her in, she is sure to be a favorite of mine in years to come. 

The scrap kit is from one of my favorite designers, Pink Paradox Productions.  I think I save up and buy like crazy whenever there is a sale! Love the elements in this kit, very vampiric with a touch of goth.

My neck has been bothering me lately, so I try not to make any sudden moves. Medication doesn't seem to make a difference, just dulls it for a while. I am not sure if I slept on it wrong or twisted it lifting something I shouldn't (although I don't recall doing that).  Hopefully, I'll be fit as a fiddle soon.

Scrapkit "Fright Fest" by Dezines by Nae

Its spooktacular!! When witches go riding and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, its near Halloween!!! Three black cats go on the prowl and bats fly low to a candle's glow. Spiders gather their webs close when skeletons rise from the dead. 

I used a  wonderful spooky scrapkit by Nae and one of my favorite witches by Alex Prihodko. Background colors came out very rich...just love the results!!! 

It took me some time to finish this artwork as it was a lesson in progress! I learned something new thanks to a tutorial by Dragonfly. You can find the tutorial here.  The background layer with the overlay was the "something new" which brought out the rich color, giving it a fiery glow.  I enjoy Dragonfly's tutorials, they are very easy to follow and can be used with other scrapkits and tubes.

Feeling the crisp air of autumn! Can't you smell the pumpkin spice? 

This scrap kit is perfect for those darkening fall nights leading up to Halloween! My sexy witch is by Keith Garvey and I simply adore her. I purchased "Tabitha" many years ago and drag her out at least once a year for Halloween. Unfortunately, I don't have very many of Garvey's tubes and need to visit his website soon.  For this tag,  I used a mask by Fecnikek. You can find it here.

Feeling darkness surrounding us all...

I feel such sadness in the world today, one disaster after another.   The black rose symbolizes sadness, mourning, death or bad omen. Usually a symbol of anything sinister, dark, rebellious, evil and many people use them in funerals as a sign of bereavement and commiserations.

Using the beautiful gothic tube "Black Roses" by Very Many along with elements from a great kit, "Black Rose" by Gothic Inspirations I tried to create an atmosphere of darkness and deep sorrow.  So far, every kit I have purchased at Gothic Inspirations has been a wonderful addition to my collection. The mask I used is by Jackie's Jewels and unfortunately, no longer available.

Another gorgeous witch, along with her familiar, getting ready to cast her spell.  As always, I find Alex's witches just too beautiful to call scary. I do enjoy collecting as many as I can!  I used elements from the scrap kit "Dead of Night".  This kit is fast becoming a favorite of mine!
